Sharp Enhancements for TAR College

In the wake of globalization, the world has been transformed into a borderless village where humans and technology complement one another in the pursuit of knowledge. Likewise, in education, technological equipment and facilities have become essential tools to assist the academia in the dissemination of information.

As a premier institution of higher learning, Tunku Abdul Rahman College (TAR College) has been keeping abreast with the latest technological advancements and also constantly upgrades its resources with modern teaching and learning facilities.

As such, the news of the contribution of 6 high performance projectors and 3 LCD televisions with a total market value of RM 98,000 by SHARP Trust Fund generated quite a buzz within the College community.

On 22 April 2008, delegates from SHARP Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, led by its Managing Director, Mr Takashi Mikami were in the College to present the audio-visual equipment to TAR College. This contribution is part of SHARP’s Corporate Social Responsibility to the community.
