The TAR College – AXP Solutions Sdn Bhd MoU signing is to formalise the industry–academia collaboration whereby the IT-based auditing software “Audit Express” (AE) is incorporated into the College accounting curriculum.
School of Pre-University Studies A-Level high achievers have once again made the College proud by creating yet another milestone in the College history. A total of 62 candidates scored 3As and above in the Oct/Nov 2009 examination session, indicating a 63.2% increase from the previous year.
Dr Tan Chik Heok was a panelist speaker at the first ACCA National Education Forum 2010 in Kuala Lumpur. Themed “The Way Forward: Developing Malaysia as an Accountancy Education Hub”, there were sharing and exchanging of views among the educationists and employers about accounting as a profession.
TAR College stamped its winning mark again by grabbing the Champion and First Runner-up titles at the MIM-Ricoh National Management Game 2009. Being the only two student teams, they defeated 22 other teams comprising managers and executives from various organisations around the nation to clinch the top two spots in the Competition.
The Asia Pacific Brands Foundation has awarded the College with the coveted award in Corporate Branding – Best Brands in Education - College category. The Award, comprising a Certificate and a special Trophy was presented by the Guest-of-Honour, Tan Sri Rafidah Binti Abdul Aziz, the former Minister of International Trade and Industry to Dr Tan Chik Heok, the Principal of TAR College at the Gala Dinner held in Shangri-La Hotel.
