| Popular IT Workshops Gain the Support of Companies |

| The IT workshops organised by the Centre for Continuing Professional Education received good response from companies and the general public. Staff from companies like Negara Properties, Allianz General Insurance, Lembaga Pembangunan Industri Pembinaan Malaysia, Institut Jantung Negara, KBU International College, Star Cruise, Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) have benefited from the IT workshops which range from Elementary, Intermediate to Advanced Levels.
Ms Lok Lay Hong who is the Head of the Music Department in the Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA) said that learning the MS Powerpoint had enabled her to teach more effectively. She has attended other educational workshops conducted by TAR College and found it to be truly beneficial. With the support of her organisation, she continued her quest for lifelong learning in this area of computing. The IT workshops are designed and aimed at helping young graduates and executives to acquire the essential IT competencies that are valued by employers, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
