Inspired by an art piece called “Sir Isumbras at the Ford” from Sir John Everett Millais, Liew and her teammates’ creations focused on elaborated collars and sleeves which brought about a unique stamp of personality for each personnel working in the hotel.
Ms Koshila A/P Raja Sandow, the students’ advisor commended on the efforts put in by the students. “It is gratifying to see such excellent achievement as it indicates that our students’ creations are recognized and well-received by the industry,” added Ms Koshila.
Lim Lin, the Director of Human Resources Hilton PJ had this to say about the winners: “Indeed their excellent talent combined with great efforts made them truly winners. We shall be using the designs in our next set of uniforms.”
Besides a certificate issued by Hilton PJ Hotel, the champions walked away with an accommodation voucher to stay in Hilton Phuket while the first runners-up took home two vouchers to dine at Paya Serai Restaurant. We congratulate the jubilant teams on such a remarkable achievement.
