| This collaboration
enables TAR College students to gain additional skills as CNC machinists,
complete with an industry recognized certificate, in addition to their
Diploma and Advanced Diploma.
“This MOU signifies the collaboration between two leading
organizations that share a common objective to train and enhance
the knowledge and skills of Malaysian manpower in order to build
a strong knowledge-based economy,” Ms Yoong, the College
Principal espoused in her welcome address.
Dato’ Liow Tiong Lai, Chairman of MCA Youth represented Dato’
Seri Ong Ka Ting, the College Chairman and President of MCA, to
officiate the event. In his speech, read out by Dato’ Liow,
he said that with this arrangement “TAR College students
will be exposed to advanced designing software and methodology which
will provide them with an edge in the modern manufacturing industry.”
