Sports Event in Pahang

The Pahang Branch Campus held a two-day sporting event on 9 and 16 March 2006, organized by the Student Sports Committee. Sports Event 2005/2006 was aimed at enhancing students’ interaction skills and instilling teamwork among participants.

The spirit of encouragement was apparent amongst the youth as they cheered for their team to finish the race. The Committee arranged outdoor and indoor games such as limbo, balloon explosion, blind men and mousetrap to spice the event with more variety. Students demonstrated their flexibility in the dexterous “how low can you go” limbo candy rock. Those who have undergone National Service training probably found their stint useful as they grovelled on the ground à la combat style in the spider web challenge.

The Sports Event was a blast despite the sweltering heat on both days and everyone benefited from the fun and prizes. Scratches, scrapes and dirty laundry were a small price to pay as the bond of friendship that was garnered in these two days would last a long time.
