TAR College wins the 2009 BrandLaureate Award!

Winning The BrandLaureate - SMEs Chapter Award 2009 is a great start to the New Year for the College, adding more joy to the celebration of the College 40 golden years of achievements and progress. The Asia Pacific Brands Foundation has awarded the College with the coveted award in Corporate Branding – Best Brands in Education - College

Dr Tan Chik Heok, the Principal of TAR College received the Award on behalf of the College from Tan Sri Rafidah Binti Abdul Aziz, the former Minister of International Trade and Industry at the Gala Dinner in the Shangri-La Hotel on 8th January 2010.

Dr K K Johan, the Chief Executive Officer of The Brand Laureate emphasized that winning such an award is a testament of the hard work put in by the award winners to build their brands, especially with the financial downturn during the last two years. He added that strong brands contribute significantly to the nation’s economy.

Being an Award winning brand reaffirms the College tradition of excellence in delivering quality and affordable education to many young Malaysians. It reflects the College good efforts and passion in advancing its reputation in holistic teaching and quality programmes.

The College remains more committed than ever to bring the benefits of higher education to many more youths and to forge ahead on excellence in learning, teaching and education research.
